Wow, Sanyo 32" Flat Screen HD-Ready TV (Remanufactured)!

is this the same as the TV they had they had a few weeks ago? I'll have to score a few more if it is...

I don't see anything else of "value" (no pun intended). And don't bother with the DVD/VCR combo, it isn't worth the 40 bucks.

I am thinking more and more that this is the HT32744 Sanyo TV with the built in HD tuner as Sanyo doesn't have any "HD-READY" tv's. Hot!

What time do they open?

A few weeks ago deal was 30" HDTV with built-in tunner.
Anyone has detail about this TV? If this one is about HT32744, it's hot.
Thanks.

alert mods

Does anyone have any information about the Sanyo 32" HD TV?

alert mods

Doesn't HD-ready means usually no bulit-In tunner?

I hope I'm wrong.

My friend just got the ad today (i live too far away to get it in my paper) and she told me it says Sanyo 32" High Definition Television...so now I am 99.9% sure it is one with a built in tuner. (Don't forget, the first 300 customers get a $10 off $20 coupon)

Page on Sanyo.com to the only TV that matches this description:

I thought the one a couple of weeks ago was widescreen.... this one doesn't seem to be..

The Sanyo set is most likely the HT32744. Exact same features as the set a while back, but the major drawback is it's 4:3, not 16:9 like the other set. Still a very nice set for a great price. (The instruction book that came with the other set covers three models: the HT27744 (27", 4:3) the HT30744 (the one on sale last time, 30", 16:9) and the HT32744 (32", 4:3). Features for all three sets seem to be the same.)

Wish it was wide..but still a good deal right?

BTW what time do they open on BF day?
Just wondering people gonna line up for this TV? seems like most of people are going after LCD TVs.

I'm worried that maybe my 2001 collora is small for this TV.

Happy thanksgiving everyone.

I think the 32" 4:3 will be alright. In lettermode, it's the equivalent of a 29.4 inch 16:9 TV

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Comparing a 30 inch 16:9 TV to a 32 inch 4:3 TV

30 inch 16:9 Set 32 inch 4:3 Set
4:3 (1.33:1) NTSC mode 4:3 (1.33:1) standard mode [70.6% larger]

* Your viewing area is 19.6 in(w) x 14.7 in(h)
* Total viewing area is 288.12 sq in.
* This is the equivalent of a 24.5 inch 4:3 TV

* Your viewing area is 25.6 in(w) x 19.2 in(h)
* Total viewing area is 491.52 sq in.

16:9 (1.78:1) native mode [4.1% larger] 16:9 (1.78:1) letterbox mode

I am in Value City's home city, and the Sanyo was not in the ad

alert mods

Has anyone noticed this yet:

The print ad (same page as the 32" Sanyo) in today's paper lists the 14" flat screen TV for $79 as an LCD. Exact wording is:

Save $40
$79.99
Compare at $120
14" flat screen
LCD TV
Limited quantities.

Picture appears to be a white Daewoo CRT, tho, and it's not like they can sell you an item they don't even carry/sell to begin with.......

I picked up the set, it's DOES have the integrated tuner! HD looks beautiful!

hot deal, thanks OP. Best hidden black friday deal, no one was there when they opened!
