I am not taking any chances with in-store pickup. With all that madness going on in the store I am sure someone is bound to screw up and not put the item(s) on hold. It happens all the time in my store. I was holding off on the Norcent because it look like it was not going to have DVI and now that the specs are up I'm game. Im going to try and purchase it at midnigh tonight and if it doesnt work, Im up at 4am and hitting the stores. |

pburg said:Probably old news, but this is what I did today. Linked through FAT WALLET to Staples.com for 3% discount. Found Symantec/Norton SystemWorks Premier 2006 (SKU 615751) for $89.99. Scroll to bottom of page and find: 1. $20.00 Instant Savings. 2. $50.00 Printable MIR. 3. $20.00 Upgrade MIR Rebate (Located On Box). Final price = 89.99 - 20.00 - 50.00 -20.00 - 3% Fat Wallet of 2.69 = -2.69 before tax. Free Shipping. Upshot is that you can order today and avoid the line tomorrow.
How did you get the $20 instant savings today? It shows as $89.99 for me (not $69.99) |

Does anyone know if B&M Staple store would price match an item from Circuit City BF sale?
Staples has a printer for $170 for BF sale and CC has it for $130 for their sale. Do you think that Staples would price match to the CC price? I am afraid that they would state that they do not price match since BF is a special event. Their policy does say that they do not price match to " special event" price such as Anniversay, Grand Opening, etc. I wonder if they would cosider BF as a special event and refuse the price match.
Does anyone have any past experiences regarding PM on Black Friday? Thanks for any info!

Don't do store pickup. It will be nuts as it is. Order online and it will be delivered Tuesday and shipping is free. |

Anyone have experience with Staples leaving things in Shopping Carts? Will it pick up all of the "Instant Savings"? Obviously the rebates should be valid... |

A "good" home theater system will set you back quite a bit more than $69. Although for that price this one is probably ok. |

Follow the link in the first post - all of those offers are available online at 6 AM EST. In-store adds are different (you're probably looking at the in-store adds).
Some of the items are duplicated between the two sets of adds- it appears that rebates are "limit 2" per address, and that they will limit you to one online order per account and one in-store item per person. If so, both may work out. I would recommend checking the rebate terms before you get too attached (or start cutting up boxes) - you can always return in-store if things don't work out...

Willy, or anyone else, with stapl;s.com system, Do you think these deals will actually show up at 12:01am or 6:00am( I can read, Im just wondering how Staples.com updates its website) and if they update it in the am, closer to 6:00, will that not cause it to go down for maintenance/updating?? |
