Is there a way to get a free or almost free receiver, and 3 months of free service? I have Sirius with a Starmate Receiver. I would like a similar receiver. I understand I should be able to use the same antenna.. |

No I want an almost free receiver and 3 months free with XM. What's the best option to do that?
I already have (and love) Sirius. |

Well they would not let me use any code when i called to activate the service but they did give me free activation for the asking....but after a week of trying to get the thing to tune in...I dont know how long i will pay 14.00 a month for something that does not come in my house unless i take all 50 feet of antennae and go thru my kitchen thru the porch and face the thing south.......then i have an obstacle course in my house.........needless to say i am not a happy customer lol |

Side One
Side Two DON'T call the number on the flyer, call 800-682-4114.
Thank you suezyque,
I just called XM and told them I had the flyer for 1 year subscription for 77 dlls. and free activation, he gave me both !! (flyer said "activation fee required, and no combined with other promotions), but I felt that could not hurt to ask; and it worked.
Thanks suezyque |

REMINDER!!!
The mail offer, 12 months for $77, that has been so talked about here is set to end on Tues., Jan.31st, 06.
It may not be allowed after Tuesday. Personally, I expect it will continue considering the recent competition of SIRIUS but I wouldn't take the chance myself. This is a good deal.
My 3 month sub was to end today on the 28th and I called (1-800-682-4114) yesterday to ask for the $77 plan and received it with no problems whatsoever. Just told them my plan was almost up for renewal, they pulled my account up and in minutes I was done.
Have your radio ID number handy. |

Hello,
I just ordered a free radio with 3 months of serivice using xmbbxm03 online. Problem is, I don't want to use the radio but a xm direct unit, and sell the free radio on eBay. I called them and asked if I could activate my "old" radio until my new one arrives, and they said not unless I want to pay for 2 radios because the other one comes already pre-activated.
Am I in trouble now, or can I just switch the service once my new free radio arrives?
Thanks |

You sure that it's not the bill for the three months AFTER the free trial? Strange... OEM001NNA works fine even now.

I called 1-800-998-7900 to cancel since my free 3-mos subscription was ending and the CSR offered to extend it another 3 mos for free. I asked if there was a code and she said no code was needed. |

Not sure if there's any truth to it, but I've been hearing about XM subscribers calling to cancel and being given great "retention" offers (usually something along the lines of $3 a month for a year, free "upgraded" radio, etc.)...definitely a YMMV, but didn't see it posted yet. |

Can I use one of the codes to get the free Roady XT? I have an old Delphi unit I want to upgrade. (Signed up to XM in early 2003). |

Called up. Got to some type of retention place, told them I wanted to cancel because my radio was old. She didn't offer me a free one, wanted me to pay... I told her about all these 'free' deals I saw online, she told me they expired -- yeah whatever.
I think I was redirected to Pakistan or something, I couldn't even tell what 'Jessica' was saying. |
