EDIT: THIS MIGHT WORK, NOT SURE IF THEY WILL CHANGE THE PRICE

If the price doesn't change, slightly better system for only $10 more!!! Looks like the SKU will work with the above same rebates. As important these seem to be in stock! Keep your fingers crossed!

Well, did you mail or electronically submit any rebates yet?? If so, and you try to do a return/rebuy, you might be in a world of trouble with rebate rejections.
As far as deal, good post OP, as far as finding this pc, good luck. If its out there, buy it, but I doubt it will be easy to find. The last sale on them depleted the stock at the two cu stores near me, but it doesnt mean they wont show up on the 15th/16th. Post your followups if you find them.
Nice find OP. With this kind of prices on PCs why are they still wasting their time on this This reminds me of all those deals on $10 AR DVD players while an actual DVD is still $15+.

There is only 1 left in S. FL, and the sales manager is an idiot. I called around to check inventory and found one left (display model). I called the store to verify they had it (had a service guy check for me). I was debating a buy/return/re-buy, but after talking to the sales manager, it wasn't worth it. Not only was it full price (i was hoping for a few $ off becuase it was a display), but he told me the only way he'd sell it to me is if I bought an $80 warranty with it, because it was a display, and he thought it would probably break.
Needless to say, I didn't buy it. I have a $200 1100 from Dell (Outlet) on the way instead.

Looks like a great deal except I don't see an AGP or PCI-E slot for video card. Am I missing something?

The problem you'll run into is that people run scripts and buy up all of the great deals, so you gotta get lucky to find a cheap system. I got a 2.53 celeron D, 512, etc for $201.XX
hot if you can find it. i just set up the one i got for my mom today. not as easy to work inside of as a Dell (then again, what is?). not silent but pretty quiet. mine didn't have a second exhaust fan, which i found interesting. i guess in a low power system it can run on just the PS fan. anyway, the components aren't too bad if you want to buy the antec superlanboy from CompUSA for $40 and a power supply and make a little lan box. heck, a legit copy of windows eats up $80 anyway.
it has a pci-e slot for video open. mine came with a samsung hard drive. the 12 volt rail is a little anemic so don't expect to put too much video in it without a new PS.

I gotta say that I have this system and I love it...
I have been playing Battlefront 2, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty 2 on this machine and I am happy with the on-board video..
Sure you need to crank the settings down, but they run great...
The only thing I see wrong with the system is the hard drive is a bit noisy, but its a Seagate so that makes up for it...
Popped in some old Pc2100, and it runs like a champ...
This is scorching. I don't even need a computer, but for this price with only two(!) rebates to deal with, I'll get a gift for someone or setup another server.

Is it just me, or does the $200 rebate not require a UPC?
None in my local stores according to web site.
I don't need another computer, but I want to buy this. This is a crazy price.

My local CompUSA has no problem with return/rebuy. I purchased 2 Compaq the day before the 4th of July 2005 sale...then did a return/rebuy the next day.

Most local store around mine is OOS. Will CompUSA refill more next week? Do you guys just want to buy it now and do return/rebuy or wait for the coming Sunday?
I'd be all over this if it wasn't a rebate from CompUSA....any other company yes but not CompUSA. Maybe because they were fined, they are sending out rebate checks but I'd rather not take my chances.
1. you got to find the PC 2. you got go buy/return/rebuy 3. you got go get two rebates, you will get the $50 but I think $200 CrapUSA might cause nightmare*
*CrapUSA is the worse. I will never buy from them!!!

I bought 2 during the 4th of July sale. Also had both $50 and $200 rebates. Didn't have a problem at all. Hopefully my local stores will restock before the 15th.

The rebate form lists two SKUs. 333129 is the SR1610nx on the website but the second one, 335974, comes up empty. Anyone know what it is?
What is the diff in the PCIe slots? I see 1X & 16X- what are they for?

How do i correct this.. B/c i do notice when i use the compactflash reader it doesn't read the files as fast as if i used a 2.0 usb external reader plugged into the usb slots in the front..
In device properties it says Enhanced USB host.. SO i know it should be working..
