Haven't tried the number, but Samsung rebates (handled by TCA rebate) list an 800 number that's slightly different.

For Monitors Rebates Commencing 01/01/02:

For Office Depot rebates that take more than the promised time to arrive, call the Office Depot executive offices at 800-937-3600 or 561-438-4800 and ask for "Customer Relations". Explain the problem and they'll get you your rebate promptly. (This is only for rebates that are actually offered by Office Depot, not manufacturer's rebates for products that Office Depot sells.)

This is especially useful for rebates that are handled by the Express Group for Office Depot.

To chief mucky muck, sorry about PM'ing this info, seems I should post it instead for the benefit of others.

The number listed for young america is, in actuality, the phone number for circuit city's rebate center, not YA. The correct information for YA is:

Young America - Young America, MN
www.young-america.com - No online rebate lookup
(800) 660-2810

At least, according to the mod over at AT whom I would trust, after I informed them of this same error.

Thanks Cpaladin, I updated our rebate center contact information with your contribution. I called the new number but they still answered it as Circuit City rebate center. We can still use it to get into YA though.

Thanks titewad. It looks like they may switch between "service1." and "service2." so I have both URLs listed.

I didn't see any information posted for the infamous Fujifilm CD-R rebates, but here is their info:

Fujifilm Rebate Center
1-866-385-4435

M-F 9am-8pm EST

(from http://www.myrewards.info)

Also, I had a rebate that I used their website to submit, but they claimed that they never received the supporting mail-in submissions. The CSR gave me a fax number, and after faxing in my copies, on the next day the website status was updated to Payment Sent.

Fax: (856) 665-9505
ATTN: Rebate Dept.

Does anybody know if we can track more than 50 rebates at rebateshq.com (staplesrebates.com)? They cap the number of rebates you can track (using name) at 50. Unless you have a tracking number, you won’t see any new rebate info if you have done 50. Thank.

For Iomega rebates and Promotions problems (from an obscure corner of their website):

IOMEGA "E-mail a Promotions Representative" ->->-> rebates@cs.iomega.com

No, 50 is the max at the present time. I've heard that you can change something in your name or address to make it different from your previous entries.

Here's more info from Cpaladin

<< You can track past 50, if you have the tracking number for a given submission. Myself, I tend to do a search by first/last name + zip instead of by tracking number. It's that latter method that has the limitation.

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=54&threadid=58957&start=60

If you know a specific tracking number for any submission, then you can track it online easily enough. Now, when you get the email, that includes the tracking number, but half the time I don't get the emails. So, you'll be needing to call up after 4-5 weeks to get tracking numbers for submissions. Once you have them, online track away.

Lanyap is the dude/dudette who maintains the company info/tracking info for FW, not some run of the mill schmuck like, well me for instance! It's been reported in various threads but alas, 50 is too small a search string on most of these forums and that's the single best one that would get the hits I want.

BTW:
Lanyap = dude
Lanyap = just some run of the mill schmuck

https://secure.rebatestatus.com/bscripts/foxweb.exe/rebatestatus/ml_default?planguage=EN&cust_no=CANON

The link to check rebate status for assorted Canon items. While their rebates are handled by rebatestatus, banging in your info on rebatestatus.com's page alone won't show your canon rebate. It doesn't show my s820 rebate. I use THAT link, and it does.

Thanks go to *seawin* for this link, NOT me, nice job helping a couple of us from a newbie member

Think I found a simple solution. Once you mail in 50 submissions, start using a different email address for all new submissions. Then in the future, when you search, use your name + zip + email and it narrows it down.

I can find submissions I did under just one email addy or another one this way. I know I've done submissions with 2 different emails, and I know that by using one or the other it reduces the number of results obviously, so it stands to reason this SHOULD work to skirt the 50 result search limit. I haven't done 50 yet....the tracking number method always works that I know.

We need someone who has done 50+ rebates thru parago to submit a new one using a different email address to proof positive test this...

Yuck, you have to send them email to find the status. I had been looking on www.rebatestatus.com, but my rebates are not showing up there. Hopefully my email will generate a more positive response.

Update: they responded pretty quickly and told me that they did not have my rebate submissions and asked me to resubmit. I emailed them scans and they accepted them and entered them, and hopefully I will see my money in another 2-3 months (sigh).
