The new Slingbox PRO improves upon its predecessor in nearly every way; from outright performance, to look and feel, to flexibility, and to HD support. While the Tuner and A/V's single source limitation may be looked at as a step backwards from the original, it's important to recognize that a large segment of the market doesn't have three sources they need to access remotely. For many, everything they need is already wrapped in one set-top box that integrates DVR functionality, multiple tuners, and pay-per-view. And, let's not forget about folks that are happy with bare-bones cable service... or the ones that are perfectly content pulling in local networks from that huge antenna on their rooftop.

Anyone know when this will go on sale and the expected price?

Slingbox AV - $179.99
Slingbox Pro - $249.99

Orb + $20 tuner card is much cheaper and more flexible although I suppose not the technically challenged.

i used orb and highly recommend it. my problem is that my cable outlets are in the living room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. nothing in the office for the computer to use....
