Well i couldn't get the 42 or 50 panny from best buy. It was way too crazy. Does anyoen have experience with the Phillips 50"? Does it compare to the panny? I cannot find any reviews online..

Did anyone get a chance to look at the CC and BB 15" LCDs? I ended up buying both -- the CC I got $40 off with the 40/199 coupon. Then I went to BB, and I saw they had taken the sign off the shelf and when an employee came up I said "I guess these are all gone, huh?" to which he replied "yes but we can take an order and have it for you next Tuesday". Then I asked about the warranty and he swore it was a full year, so I ordered one. I never took a look at the one at CC (what a zoo!) so I don't know how they compare. Anyone?

I ended up getting the one at CC. I also used the 40/199 coupon. Did you have to add items to your order to reach 199? The online price was 199 but in-store it was 179.

I haven't had a chance to set it up yet, so I can't comment on it.

I'm reposting from the Best Buy thread, but it's TV related, so...

Damn, I just got lucky. This morning I went to Best Buy to try to get an Insignia HDTV 27" for $270. I didn't camp, I just went in there at exactly 5:00 AM, and was told they were out. After hearing reports that some BBs were getting some BF items back in stock due to mid-day shipments, I went back tonight. They DIDN'T get a shipment in, but it turned out that somehow they lost all the Insignias this morning, so they didn't get put out until late. I got the very last one... at 7:00 PM. Misplacing things FTW! I also got an LG progressive DVD player for about $90 after rebates.

So just because you didn't get there at 5AM, it doesn't mean you should give up hope about getting a great deal.

For all of you that missed out on the 42" Westinghouse LCD at Best Buy on Friday, you can get it at the same price ($999) directly from their website, and do an in-store pickup.
