where did you find the info about the 42" panasonic going on sale at CC? I haven't seen that anywhere.
Also, does anyone know if we can buy before and pricematch on black friday?
Thanks, Saloni.

for your next question - just click on the Black Friday 2006 link on the top of any page here on FW and read the related threads ... the most common answer is YMMV, depending on the store and time ...
edit: thanks warlord for the correction ...

Its the TH42PX60U model, orig price of 1999, slashed to 1299 for BF. The 50' is TH50PX60U, and thats 1999 from 2999.

Nothing too hot right now as I want a 42" LCD HDTV for around $1200... last hope is CompUSA.
I'll wait for that before I pull the trigger on any online deals.

ANY opinion on which is better. Looks like optoma is a better deal to me , but i have no idea on what the optoma projector quality is. Anyone have a opinion.
Err thanks, but I'm looking for something from a B&M store that's preferably plasma or lcd.
I don't know, is that wishful thinking even for BF?

I've been trying to decide which type of HDTV to get and I came across this information from Consumer Reports. I thought it might be helpful to others who are trying to decide what to buy. You have to be a subscriber to view some of it but there is still lots of useful information. The "How to buy a big-screen TV" video is pretty interesting.
