from what i have seen, all the 12, 14 and 15.4 inch laptops have screen resolutions of 1280x800 ... the 17 inch ones are 1440x900 ...

integrated graphics on all the cheaper laptops ... i dont think there is so much difference between the integrated graphics chipsets that it will be a deal breaker ... Intel graphics might be crappier than ati or nvidia, but will do regular jobs without any problems .. none of these are meant for gaming/video intensive applications anyway...

none of these are meant for gaming is what you should have said. Any integrated graphics can run video and (excluding 3D games) there is no such thing as a video intensive application. If you're not running 3D the video sub system will never drop refresh rates below 60hz. Never.

So far, what is the best deal and what are the options between now and bf as an option? A little extra $ will pay for the aggravation and the uncertainty....not to mention the losing sleep over anxiety.....is this fun or what?

I am looking at the 15 inch laptops this year. the Gateway MX6454 from BB looks good but there is no information about it. its not on BB site or gateways site. there is a MX6453 that is almost the same. any one have more info on this one? I need a pretty high end 15 inch laptop. I also can't find what wi-fi card it has.
