Besides the fact that the author is a whiney little baby who expects BB to be his buddy, it just adds weight to everyone's suspicions that stores are holding their stocks until Friday. Time to plan out another list of stores to visit at 5am Friday morning.

i can vouch for that also, they DO have them, but are saving them. they ARE told to lie to customers so they can sell accessories + warranty.

i work in a best buy (not FOR best buy) and i have seen them PURPOSELY take accessories that go on sale off the shelf until the sale is over.
example: 512 SD cards were 9.99 on sale, they had 25 in but the manager of the camera department took them off the shelf and put them in the back and told camera employees to tell customers they sold out. Same with the fuji camera that went on sale for $99.99 this week.

I SAW IT HAPPEN, i am a rep in the DI department.

edit: also, employees are brainwashed to sell ONLY canon cameras to customers, they put down all other models. same with the TV department, they are brainwashed to ONLY sell samsung. i believe they get paid by these companies to lie.

and Circuit City does not do these tasteless tricks, i worked there for 3 years and they never once told me to hide stuff or lie to customers about what we have. i guess thats why money wise they are doing so bad.

Well, so much for picking one up before BF. I'd say at this point, the best bet it stopping by Wal-Mart. Every Wal-Mart is managed differently and I could actually see them wanting to get rid of their inventory before hand to avoid even more chaos. Wal-Mart's never pretty on BF.

best buy's ad says a min. or 15 on sunday, and one i called said to expect some out on black fiday.

if we can get one at 5am there me and a friend are going to a GameStop that said to come friday at 7am... i really wish i would have had one for tomorrow all day before dinner.

my plan is bestbuy at at opening and if not GameStop at 7. what is everyone else doing?

I hit Best Buy this morning in search of a Wii, but no luck. I did get one of the $250 Toshiba Laptops though.

I guess I'll have to see if they have some on Sunday.

got one on Wednesday at Gamerush in Michigan. Called them and asked if they had any. They said they were getting a shipment that day at 6 hopefully. So I called back at 5 and they had just gotten 2 in, and were nice enough to hold one for me until I arrived. Of course, the other was gone too when I got there.

^^^ That's not a bad idea (tried that myself on someone who had 3 Wii's for sale, but they all ended up selling for $350+).

Also went to GameStop today, 6 Wii's and I was about 15th in line. Yay.
Hoping more hit stores next week...From what I'm hearing, Target/Wal*Mart didn't get (m)any, which makes me think they should this week.
