Friend just got a roomba and a scooba and I'm pretty impressed. Her usually filthy floors (3 dogs, 3 cats in a 1 bedroom apt) are friggin' sparklin!! Looks like someone got on their hands and knees and scrubbed it. Mind you, it had to be scooba'ed 4 times in a row to acheive the look, but it's pretty fantastic.
As my luck would have it I missed the irobot $229 duo deal (now $299). I have a small apt, so doubt I'd need any of the scheduling or virtual wall stuff. Wondering if/when another $229 duo deal will come around again...I know bed, bath, beyond has a LT warranty on them, but do they ever have them at steep discounts?

Best you will be able to do at LNT and BB&B is use their regularly distributed 20% off coupons. As far as I know, they don't discount any more than that.

Flagg

Keep checking WOOT. They have these fairly regular. And usually at least one of them every Wootoff.

But aren't the woot ones refurbs?
Edit: looking bk at old deals I see the woot ones are new, but the Scooba is $205 and Roomba is $145ish

UGH! Kinda wish I'd never seen the thing in action - was pretty content with the cleaning lady coming very 2 wks, but in the long run I'm sure I'd save money and bet the irobots do a better job on my floors than her.

Where do you find past woot deals? $205 for a scooba is smoking. I'd like to verify that.

I think the free roomba that came with the scooba is going pretty cheap on eBay.

Hmm where was the $229 deal. I got the $299 deal though. I would like to pricematch if i can. Could you please help.

FFR: go to top of page, FW search
enter search term in field, in this case "woot scooba"
Posts come up, go to leftside of screen and click "Hot Deals" or "Expired Deals" - it'll narrow things down a bit.

Scooba 5900 + free Roomba $229 shipped after code DEC696 and GCO + 6% fatcash at irobot.com
From what I read, irobot would not do PM's even for ppl who had ordered the day before. They had to re-order using the deal.

Thank you.

Talked to iRobot and mentioned the price difference. I bought this in $299 deal on Dec 15th. Looks like this $229 deal was available on Dec 18th. She doesn't appear to adjust the price and she says our price is $399 for 5900 Scooba.
Any suggestion on how to deal with this and get the price match?

Nope. Sorry - if you read through the threads no one was successful, and they quickly pulled the code. The only thing you could've done was ordered on the 18th via the web.

Well i was able to get the difference. After calling them couple of times they credited the difference $60 for me.
No complaints from me.

Awesome! Maybe update the original deal thead to let others know that it is indeed possible.

It took a little work but I was able to get the scooba and roomba for $150 each (ac/pm/gc) at BBB. $70 extra but with LT warranty.
