I bought two Scooba's noticed after 5 months both were having same problems: short run time and different error messages. Called iRobot. They put me through a one hour troubleshooting each Scooba, then explain that there was a defect either in the batteries or instructions of charging. iRobot now instructs there customers not to continuously charge their Scooba's batteries as stated in the instructions. But, to charge for 4 hours then remove battery from Scooba, and charge as needed. Both were shoot. iRobot did replace both without me returning. Now the question: 1)Is there anywhere to buy an extra Scooba battery besides the iRobot site? 2) Has anyone exchanged a Scooba for a iRobot vacumn? 3) Anyone else had this Scooba problem? 4) After I bought two cases of the Clorox solution, only solution that iRobot recommended for the Scooba, iRobot now states white vinegar may be used. |
