Seems like it may cause problems. On the unlimited ones, someone will take 20 to the counter and the cashier will immediately see what's going on. If you take trial sizes when you were supposed to buy full size they will report to manager. Deals will get killed faster. If things print two days later no one knows what you bought.
As was pointed out in the other thread, this has been going on for the last two months and is only in certain areas. It will eventually be made store wide.
Edit: Was not working here this morning but when I went back this afternoon there were corporate people at my store working on the system and it started printing all of my backed up ECBs when I checked out, 27 of them. They said all of our local stores should be up by week's end.
Although I really like the instant EB's, I'm now running into problems trying to redeem my EB's. A bunch of my EB coupons are beeping when the cashier tries to apply them to my order. The message that they are seeing is "coupon not valid for card scanned". This is a real pain. Even though the coupon has my name and the last 4 digits of my EB card number (which I show them to prove that the coupon is mine), some cashiers are refusing to override this message. Considering that these are valid extra bucks that I earned (and I only have 1 EB card and not have printed out any of the EB's from home), it's frustrating having such a hard time redeeming them. Anyone else having this same problem?
