k000 said:@haridvs - they sell the plan as 2nd year free, so if you try to cancel and get prorated refud, it will be on 12 months basis. you won't get anything back if you cancel during second year. Yes, that makes sense. I talked to another agent who said that they could waive the $50 termination charges upto 20 days and that those are enough number of days to know if the number will be ported or not. We would still loose $40 upfront fees and about $20 in service charges (because you would have to keep two services during that time). |

Dear friends, I was a Sunrocket user changed to Teleblend, that have another 2 unused gizmos Innomedia MTA 6328 2r. We want to know if it is possible to connect 3 different office locations via our phone system using our local area network and the gizmos, being one of these gizmos the Teleblend VOIP. We have Panasonic Phone Systems in each locations and Dell Switches. |

I guess I will have to find someplace else since Vonage is just not equipped to handle all phone numbers, just the ones that they have "partners" who can carry them (the excuse they gave me for not porting my number of 25 years over to them). Vonage said:Due to the nature of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), we do not play a direct role in the transfer of phone numbers into or out of our service. We employ a third party carrier to complete these tasks. Your phone number is not transferable at this time because we do not have a Rate Center in the number’s geographical region.
Any other good VOIP providers that CAN port a former BellSouth phone number over (besides SunRocket/Teleblend, who seem to be the only ones so far who can do it in my case)? I ported over my Bellsouth number to ViaTalk - Atlanta, ga area. |

I ported over my Bellsouth number to ViaTalk - Atlanta, ga area. How do you like ViaTalk? I currently have Nuvio (switched when SunRocket wen belly up). Both quality and support have been fine. The ViaTalk deal is temping (199/2 years). How was the porting process?
Thx. |

That was a post from a long time ago by ? orangespot. I have decided to repost it because after going back and reading it, I remembered why I stopped posting here. Now, however, I have to laugh because I am still with Teleblend and my phone service is running very well. No complaints here except for reception when you move away too far from the phone base. That problem is experienced by alot of phone net line users and not just me. At $14. and some change a month, I am still on board with that monthly payment vs. the others. That is why I said I am not a part or any telecommunications company. I am a satisfied Teleblend customer who had fallen victim to Sunrockets demise. I am still out here and just wanted to update other users that it isn't all that bad from my point of view. Good Luck To All! |

I moved from Sunrocket to Net2Phone using the same Sunrocket Gizmo Innomedia MTA6328-2Re. Net2Phone asked me to flash the firmware before I could start using them. Now I want to get rid of Net2Phone . What do I need to do to login to admin page. Do I need a user name and password from Net2Phone (which they don't seem to give it to me) or can i somehow reset the device or flash another sunrocket firmware which has a username and password? Please help... |

We've been using MagicJack for a year and it's been OK. Only thing that really gets us annoyed are the pop up advertisements. Luckily, we stumbled on small tool that blocks the pop up advertisements. It's available at Download.com for free (http://www.download.com/MagicBlock/3000-2349_4-10838528.html?part=dl-10838528&subj=dl&tag=button&cdlPid=10862694), or you can just search Google for "magicblock" |
