YeaBabyYea said: My Sunrocket service stopped working also. I set up Sunrocket gizmo (AC-211) for VoiceStick (purchased annual plan last Thur.) and it's working well. One problem I have, voicemail's not working. After about 10 rings it just says, "The person's your're calling is not answering" and hangs up. I enabled voice mail from my account. Anyone else have this problem? Also, I inquired about number portability form that I faxed couple of days ago, so far they have not responded to my e-mail. No one is answering the phone. So far, I am not impressed. I like low international rates but if I do not hear from them soon I'll be switching to a different carrier.

my service finally stopped working too. when i call out, i get a message that my sunrocket service
has been disconnected and asking me to activate with telebrand.

i got a voicestick number last week, which has been great in it's use with global forwarding.
i tried it w/o global forwarding set and set voicemail to email and i try to leave myself some voicemails as a test. i get the email but the attached wav file is blank. does anyone have that situation or am i doing something wrong in the voicemail setup?

scumbag mgt from sunrocket merely went to teleblend. they will get money and run.

th Signed up with Telebend on the 28th, and my service hasnt dropped yet. I am in FL btw.

Signed up with TB right away to ensure continuity. After a few days, chose Packet8. Ordered on 7/24. Port request put in immediately. Number ported today, about two weeks later, and adapters worked instantly hooked up to my router without any special configuration. I know adapter(s) plural, as I have two. Didn't daisy-chain them, as the included instructions just not hooking multiple ones into each individual port on a router/switch. Both lines working great, just waiting for the other one to port now as I put that request in a few days later and it seems that Packet8 is doing weekly batches rather than continuously working on them. Cancellation for my one line went to TB today. American Express is crediting my account for the entire cost of service for both lines, AND I collected $100 total in GroBux rebates besides. While the hassle isn't worth it, at least in the end I know that I actually MADE money on this deal in true FatWallet style.

Sounds like a plan. I'm going to try this just to squeeze every last drop out of those SOB's.

SUNROCKET WAS ON COMA AND TODAY OFFICIALLY DEAD. PLEASE PREPRARE FOR FUNERAL. I FEEL SAD TODAY. My Home is now full of bunch of phones VS, N2N ... Confused which to use, which to stop. All my Gizomos succussfully craked and usesful. Thanks SR for donating a Gizmo.

TB when is your D-DAY?

i signed up with Packet8 back on July 16, and my number was ported completely within a week or so. The service was great for porting. And my p8 service is better than SRs - specifically I notice that touch tones transmit much more reliably than they did on SR. I'm happy, even though i lost 9 months of my free second year on SR. I didn't try to to dispute it with A M E X, however.

my sunrocket is finished and my amp'd is finished.
i have no phone service.
tomorrow, i will cement my mail box closed so the postman
can't put any mail in it.

I get a dial tone, but then when I try and dial a 7 digit local number or a 10 digit long distance number, I get the recording saying SunRocket has been disconnected. But I am able to dial toll free 1-800 or 1-888 or 1-877 numbers.

For the 5th straight day, I have not been able to receive any incoming calls using TeleBlend! Technical support is non-existent. I switched yesterday. If yours is working, consider youself lucky. Who knows when the next disruption will be, next week? My advice to you is switch while you can.

Thank lord that my porting went OK with Vonics and completed yesterday.

I don't think Telecrack ever started anything on their end - they merely turned the servers on after SR drama, and now can't fugure anything. I have had NO INCOMING for last 5 days even though I paid them the ~ $15 (to save my number)

Bye bye telecracks . SR was good while it lasted.

I also switched from Teleban to Vonics yesterday after not being able to receive any incoming calls for four days. Right after signing up with Vonics, I faxed over the letter of authorization to have my number ported. How long did it take for them to have your number ported?

My recent SR dispute with Schwab bank has been denied.

I was on my 16 month of service with SR and Schwab told me that they cannot dispute the months that are free...Since i paid $199 for 1st year and got service for 12 months, the remaining months are not counted for any dispute...

Loosers..they wont get my business anymore!

OK...I'm trying to sign up with Axvoice, it says my number can be ported but when I try to enter my primary number in the drop down menu it does not give me the right exchange to pick from. How will I get my number if I can't enter them in the drop down menu? Anyone else have this problem signing with Axvoice?

Account Created Date: 7/24/2007
Port Date: 8/9/2007
Number was owned by: Globle Crossing.

Just received a letter from Voicestick to inform me my number is ported. After updating the gizmo setting, I can both make and receive phone calls with my old number now! Voicestick's port process is suprisingly faster than I thought.

By the way, it's strange that my sunrocket phone can still make calls out now by using the alreaday ported number. It could not receive calls since August 6th. And, I didn't sign up with the Taliblend.

Letter from Voicestick? Like snailmail? I faxed my LOA on the 18th and am still waiting. (Choice One owns my number.)

So I have requested 2 ports

Primary SR number to Net2Phone on 08/02/2007 - Expected to be completed by 08/28/07 - who know if its gonna happen or not but what the heck I will still get 8 months of free service from N2P.

Signature SR number to T-Mobile Prepaid on 08/09/2007 - Expected to be completed today, I hope it does as I need to put a voicemail for people to contact at my new GrandCentral number.

When I call Primary SR number, I get busy tone and when I call Signature SR number I get the infamous message to contact Teleblend, I can't understand why Teleblend is providing this message to the people who are calling my numbers? Shouldn't they just say that this number has been disconnected and hang up?

I have no problem with Voicemail. But it only takes 3 rings! How do you survive for 10 rings? But that is the message someone gets if I disable voicemail (after 3 rings again.) VoiceStick says 3 rings is working as designed. Perhaps the reason I'll leave in 6 months or so, but for now, I'm set (once my number ports.) (EDIT ADD: Their manual does say "Currently, there is no facility for changing the number of rings prior to voicemail." I like that word Currently.)

I have found that opening a ticket (meaning using the customer service on their webpage) gets a better response than an email directly to a CSR. Somebody is watching the beans. But as previously pointed out. VoiceStick is taking 300 tickets/day. If you want to jump ship because a company overwhelmed with new subscribers can't get back to someone in a week I think you are being a bit rash in your decision. What makes you think another ship is any less crowded? And if it is, why?

Back to your voicemail concern. Did you or were you able to set up your Greeting? The manual says dial 0000 but that didn't work for me. I had to dial my number and hit *, then followed the prompts. I wonder if your problem is that you don't have a greeting?

dr164 said: robertsotx said: Login to sunrocket and set your forwarding option to "Do not disturb". At least calls will go to voice mail.

Call all the toll free numbers you like from your "disconnected" sunrocket/teleblend phone.

Thanks, that part is still working. Atleast my callers won't hear the annoying "signup with Taliban" message. I wish N2P was faster with the porting.

Thanks robertsotx! What I did previously was change my greeting to give out my new grand central number (because that will be permanent) and have GC ring my temporary VoiceStick number. At least people with my (yet to be ported) number can still reach me and if they happen to put the GC number in their phonebook it will always work.

I don't know if I'll continue to give out the GC number or not after my number is ported. It does have some interesting features.

Taliban finally cut my service. I already ported both numbers out to my cell phones. My problem is that all calls from taliban subscribers still route to my dead SR phone, not the cell phones. Calls from outside of SR network are fine. It seems that SR did not delete my numbers from their database.

Anyone has similar issue?

Did you have a Level3 number? My number is from Global Crossing and they sure seem to take their sweet time. It has been 2.5 weeks since my request. Vonics initially told me that the port was supposed to take place this past Wednesday but it is still not complete. They gave me a temp number but I want my SR number!

Has anyone been succesful with porting from Global Crossing to Vonics? If so, how long did it take?

I did set the "Do Not Disturb", but still the "we're sorry" message, can not go to my voice mail.

Thanks for the reply orangespot. I called global crossing but they are of no help. They say that we are not holding anybody's porting request. I asked them to check my number but they are saying that I need to talk to my service provider.
Call to Heather Thomas always goes to voicemail. I have left detailed message but didn't get any response. I don't know what to do.

For my number porting, VoiceStick is saying that number porting is denied by level 3 because Global Crossing has requested my number port and they were in line before voicestick number port. I never requested number port with any career so what is this Global Crossing? Anybody elsed faced the same issue with their porting? Please help me as I don't want to loose the number.

voicestick gave me the "Level 3 won't let us" run around when I asked about porting a wireless # to them. (I moved it to verizonwireless to save it from the sinking SR ship).
I called Level 3 who said "no problem", but when I relayed that info to VS, they have not replied.
If the number is really important, quickly port it to someplace safe (like a wireless carrier) then deal with VS later. Right now, I don't really trust VS, they seem like they can barely handle all these new customers. When I see signs of stabiltity, I'll try again.
Meanwhile, I found this link for contacting Global Crossing. and 918-547-8530 for Level 3. Talk with Heather Thomas.

anyone know if there is a way to redirect incoming calls to the SR number - to another number, voicemail etc. Their call fwding (from the SR website) does not seem to be working for me.

Taliban continues to haunt me. Is it only me or others too?

When I signed up with TeleBlonde, it had the $3.00 credit for international calling. Now I see no mention of that on their web page.

Yes, I should have expected that

any trick to make fax through MG-3 of VoiceStick Gizmo?

The "Do not disturb" option did not work for me. My SR line is finally down!

I have applied for N2P porting which will get done only on 8/28, oh well...

I had my Sunrocket line working till yesterday Noon. Now there is a dial tone (Gizmo's all lights are green) However I can not make out bound calls. Out side callers hear ring but no ring is heard at the phone. Went ahead and activated teleblend power cycle the gizmo. But now still having same issues. No out bound and inbound calls.

Has any one else experience this with Telblend? Not mentioned in their FAQ.

Yes I did and I got this message You can transfer your current telephone number (718-zzz-zzzz) to Vonics Digital.
Now I want to call them and cancel but They are not picking up their phones and I left messages before and now it says that Voice Message box is full.
And the stupid thing is the temp. # they gave me sends out as Fire Dept. in the caller ID. What a waste of time.
BTW should contact CC company and do a chrge back and send the equipment to the add. it came from?
TIA
