Seems like there's a ton of techie & finance stuff listed in FW. Maybe I don't understand the Forums yet because I'm new, but I'm a total bargain shopper online for clothes, fashion accessories, shoes, purses, jewelry, etc. So, I thought I'd find more hot deals here for what I'm looking for....but I don't see many at all. So, how about starting a discussion thread for some "fashion" sites that give us good deals on a consistent basis.
Please only post sites that sell "authentic" merchandise, and not the fly-by-night sites. So, longevity is a good thing to look at when posting the name of a website. Please state how long they've been around and what they sell. That will help all of us. Thanks, LR
I'll start:
http://www.Gap.com - 1969 = everything apparel - great deals consistently - gap card holders get deeper discounts http://www.Overstock.com - 1990's = like a discount department store - cheap shipping http://www.BrandsBoutique.com - early 1990's = discount purses mostly - free shipping min req'rd, no sales tax http://www.SmartBargains.com - mid 1990's = like a discount department store - great fashion bedding http://www.Bluefly.com - late 1990's = mostly clothes & shoes http://www.Shopbop.bom - ? = brick & mortar store in Madison, WI.- online fashionable designer apparel
Nordstrom RACK ! The Rack is not online but if you have one in the area, it is well worth your time to go a few times a year. Call your local Rack and they have a (snail) mailing list which they will add your name to so you're notified of special sales a few times a year. They do not maintain an email list.

Yes, I used to have one nearby but not anymore. I visit TJMax and Marshals though as often as possible. Nordstroms reminds me of those stores. Very good for clothes.
Clasic Closeouts is a nice site. But I don't recognize any of the designer brand names. The prices are great. I'm telling my sister. She has a daughter who shops too much! : )
Thanks for the post because it helped me figure out how to add a link in text. I couldn't figure out why all the links I made in the original new thread had hypers except for one. Now, I got it!

HotStuff2 said: Talk about a useless thread.
Why is this useless? Are you a MANLY type who only wants gadgets and gizmos?
p.s. anyway, I like your avatar selection. Is that the hippi? What are you smokin'?

I just made a list of other sites I like to shop for fashion and fashionable stuff for the house, too. I asked to see if we can get them added to the FW Stores list:
