I see a slight discrepancy with the Sony 46". I went to Sears B&M today to check out the model that is advertised in the BF ads, and in the store it says the regular selling price is $1899.99. Whereas, in the BF ad, they claim the reg price is $1999.99. So, are they raising the price to put it on sale? |

MosDeft: yeah, it doesnt look like it. we will know more as the 11th comes closer. there are still good deals available... plus u still have a chance to get one on BF. jmophotos: yes, w/out the Sears card, you will only get 5% off. its worth it to sign up for a card though, or find someone who does (a relative?) you can make a payment (in the store) right after you use the card to avoid interest if you chose the instant Cash Back. scottvm: yes i believe you are correct. but i may be wrong, different stores have different models. the only sony 46 we have (which is on clearance now for 1619, floor model) is the one i posted. but thats wut i think it is... :\?
yes, come early, maybe 5:30... look around... grab a salesperson... be one of the first to buy a tv.. we usually start it a little bit early at my store, around 5:45 or 5:50. you might even want to come in the morning... because on the date of the last f/f night, we had a samsung which as $1299. reg price is $1800. here that was the price for the whole day... we sold out quickly (before f/f night started) a lot of people in our area bought it because when we tried to order it, we couldnt. the distribution center was empty. however, there is a way to get around this: get the salesperson to sell it to you anyways (even if they are out of stock and cant order it) management will have to give you a tv when the next shipment comes... and you still get the same price. but this will only work if the salesperson agrees.. they might get in trouble. if you get the warranty, they will be more likely to do it. (i think you get a % off the warranty too on f/f night) anyways, just because the sharp isnt on sale doesnt mean there wont be other good deals. someone could be unadvertised. |

jmoney, you're $$$$ Would you say it's easy to buy one online and do in-store pickup? I wanna buy one for my parents, but they can't be trusted to perform such a purchase so I figured I can buy it during F&F and then come back during Thanksgiving to go pick it up. |

Ok so let me get this straight 1.) Buy the Sharp 46" ONLINE for instore pickup? 2.) I will get the 150 MIR + 10% off MIR ($99) + 5% = $891 So can I buy this at the store with all the discounts or should I buy online for instore pickup? |

Thanks The model is 56LCZ70. I am really interested in it too. But I am not sure now after it not possibly appearing in the F&F add that an earlier posted had seen at the store, in fact I don't know if any of the early bird ones were in it, as the ones he typed were the non-doorbuster TVs. Maybe the always helpful jmoney48 can elaborate on this and confirm if the early bird TV like the panny 56" will be on sale this Sunday, and at what possible price. |

online purchases is the area where my knowledge stops. ive never done/dealt with an online before. customers who do an online order go directly to merchandise pick up and dont deal w/ our dept at all. i do know that the online locator is not reliable (as stated by someone else earlier)... so you might want to go into the store and buy it, that way you get the 150 off instantly and dont have to deal w/ the mir. the discounts go in this order: 5% off, $150 off, 10% mir. you will get a different price if you do it differently. i believe the panasonic dlp is this one right now its $1800 and not selling. some guys from japan r comning to our store on tuesday to talk to us about why sales are so poor... im glad i wont be there anyways, this is the only one we have... its pretty new, we've had it about a month in the store. i believe someone posted the tvs on sale from the f/f ad. for now, i would go by that... i dont have access to the unadvertised stuff... since its unadvertised i will know when the general public knows. unless, they make us do signing on saturday night. |

Does anyone know the major differences between Samsung LN-T4671F and Samsung LN-T4665F ? Will Sears be having both on sale or just the 4665F ? Any info/ comments would be greatly appreciated! |

Any info/ comments would be greatly appreciated! The T4671F is the 120Hz version which enables smoother fast action. I saw a demonstration in store and it was noticeable. |

Jmoney, how do you figure out the exact price along with tax? Is tax charged on the original price before all the discounts or is it calculated on the price of the tv after the instant rebates but before the mir? And is the MIR %10 of the price before or after tax has been included? For example, for a $1600 tv... Is it $1600 - %5 - $250 + tax - %10 mir? (1600-$80-$250 + 6.75% tax = $1356 - 10% MIR = $1220) Damn... I'm confusing myself with this! |

This looks like the deal I've been waiting for to get in on a LCD/Plasma. Does anyone know if when the BF flyer will come out (Maybe in Sundays Paper)? It would be nice to get a list of TV's will be on sale and do a bit of research before heading to Sears on the day of the sale. Edit - I realize there is a list on the first post but I mean a definite list of TVs that have BF deals and their definite BF prices. |

Yep that's the Panny listed in the BF ad as a Doorbuster. So i guess you are saying that we can't get the F&F deal on it since it is not in that ad for Sunday. The panny is actually an LCD rear projection that uses a brighter, longer lasting bulb. |

I don't know about the 60inch but the 50inch is on sale for BF. It's listed in Sears' ad, it is a Friday and Saturday deal not a doorbuster. |

osujudoman: after the 5% and instant off, then they charge tax. then you get 10% off the subtotal... so i think you got it right. |

JRMoney Im planning on signing up for a Sears card tonight online. Im very interested in the Samsung 46 1080p or the 61 1080p. I want to use the 0% for 18months if that is avail. I believe it was either Cash Back or the 0%, but not both from what I read? Am I correct or would I still see the $150 off the 46" and still be able to use the 18 0%? Those prices are only for the 6-9pm correct? I cannot go any earlier? Thanks Dave |
