Looks like the East Coast (and probably everywhere) is getting Wii's this morning at local K-Mart, TRU, Target, Circuit City stores.

Saw 3 Wiis at the West Little Rock WalMart on Bowman last Thursday, and the Best Buy on Bowman had 8 today when I was there after work. Looks like they are become more widely available!

Many retailers held onto some stock for Wii Fit release tomorrow. Best bet to grad one for awhile. I bet it'll be dry for a few weeks until the next big shipment comes in.

Please don't red me for this, but a DOD website QwickieDeals.biz is selling wii Sports today.
Unfortunately, they are selling it for $329.99 plus shipping!

(I have officially lost all respect for this dod.)
It would be interesting to see if they sell any for that price - I guess it is a little safer than fleecebay.

Just got back from a 24 hour WalMart in NY. They started selling Wii Fit at 12:01 a.m.; had more than enough for the 25-30 people that had lined up in the electronics department. They were also selling Wii consoles.

Saw a bunch of Wii consoles at Target in NY yesterday (along with WalMart last night), so I know they're becoming much easier to get but if by chance someone's still looking, BestBuy.com has them now with tax plus $5.99 shipping (credit to nowinstock.net).

I'm seeing Wiis all over the place. Especially Wal mart and Target, they seem to continually be in stock during the week other than waiting on sunday morning for CC and BB.

Find me a Wii Fit...

I went to Target today and they were sold out. Maybe I will try WalMart on the way home to see if they have it.

I cannot believe that the Wii is still hard to find.

Is this a marketing gimmick they are doing by limiting the number of released units or are just that popular?

Well I got my WiiFit today from WalMart. Just happened to check there before work and bingo.

I think this shortage nonsense is self created at this point. There shouldn't be a shortage of this device after it's been out a whole year now. I also think the temporary shortages on games like the GH3 and WiiFit is self created to create free publicity and fake scarcity. Nintendo should be overproducing their product at this point. Lastly, I think the best places to get the Wii at if you reall truly can't find them are just by hitting your walmarts and targets. It's bound to get put out at one of them. Just last week I was at a WalMart that was setting out about 8 wiis in the cases, so just keep hitting those places and you'll be victorious!

Target in Vadnais Heights, MN (55127) has about 4 in display case today around noon. They have also taken down there "Due to shortage the Wii is not available" sign they had up for the past few months.
