I know it's a bit early to be looking this far, but does anyone have any inside info (for example, employee at either store) on Best Buy or Target this Sunday (DEC 9)? I've heard rumors that stores are holding their consoles until the 16th, which would really suck. I've also heard that they're only doing that after this Sunday though, so I can't really be sure.

Any info would be awesome!

Keep trying every 5 minutes for the next 6 days and then it will go through. If you do this correctly, in the end, you'll be able to order as many Wiis as you want for $2.50 each and free next-day delivery. I just did this last week and the six semis delivered my stockpile today.

When I call the GameStops there are already people lined up to go inside, at least for the stores that put them out ready for the morning. The rest (and most others) put out the Wii as the shipments come in between 11 and 1. But how realistic is it to "case" the GS for two hours? I don't have the option to do that b/c of a small child. I missed the shipment at GS today by 45 minutes. I don't know what's best....casing a GS, waiting in line in the cold (our lines begin at 4am!), or waiting for my online trackers to go off and to send me texts to my phone. I haven't received any wii alerts yet and I signed up on Friday. I live in Virginia Beach and the people in this area are very serious about scoring a Wii. They line up early and in droves.

Call them. I missed two GS B$M. they told me to call them beteen 11:00-1:00. I just do have time. They're just sold out. I have to wait the next GS this Friday. They will have them.

In past it's been on Wednesdays at 9am or 10AM PST. The recent exceptions being BF and last Friday.

Not that I'm trying to sway you from going out tomorrow morning, but from my experience with their availability tracker it is always one day behind. For instance, if I check it on a Monday morning around 8AM (after it updated sometime during Sunday night) and it says more on the way: "YES", then I know that on that very day, Monday, they will be getting a shipment in. The next morning, Tuesday, will show in stock: "1-3", but that was actually yesterday's inventory.
