Is there a site FWers frequent to buy printer ink refills? I own an HP PSC1210 and from what I've researched thus far I need refill kits for black cart #56 and color cart #28. Thanks in advance.

What an awesome printer. I had one and loved it, upgraded for no real reason, other than to have something newer. I used ink coupons at Staples, or 5 ink cartridges ($15 off) at OM. Can't remember what else I used.

I use www.CarrotInk.com and have been extremely happy with their prices, promotions, customer service etc. Another one I would recommend is www.inksell.com.

Do some googling and find a place that offers G&G inks.
G&G inks are relatively cheap and usually give good results.

I am a longtime happy ink customer of www.private.Abacus24-7.com

I have kept about 5 Canon printers happy using their generic ink for several years and can't beat their price.

Check out their price guarantee; one of the best out there.

I don't have an HP, but I've been happy with the inks I get for my Brother inkjet printer from ABCink.com. For the Brother, they sell G&G ink, and what they call "professional grade" generic ink. I've been happy with the G&G, I just ordered some of the "professional grade", haven't tried it yet, but did notice that they contain more ink (18ml vs 12ml for the color carts).

Walgreens ad this week has a coupon for $3 off NCR brand ink refills. I've never tried them so can't say how good it is.

Here is a 5% discount code for the Abacus Private store:

JAN5 Expires: 01/18/2008

www.private.Abacus24-7.com (Not to be confused with Abacus24-7.com much higer pricing) is already almost always the least expensive. An extra 5% does help though.

Abacus and Abacus Private seem to be the same company at the same address with the same telephone number. Yet, as you pointed out, Abacus Private is noticeably less expensive.
What's the deal?
Can anyone order from Abacus Private?
Do you have to be invited, register, order a minimum amount? Or, is it open to everyone?

Walgreens is offering ink re-fill for $5.00 on any kind of cartridge--usually it is $10.00 for Black & $15.00 for color; for this week, it is $5.00 for either one--I'm going to refill mine. I have never done this before, but for $5.00, I will try it.

Unfortunately the fine print in the Walgreens ad states no Canon or Epson refills. My Dad tried to have them refill an HP 29 cartridge and the local Walgreens told him it was a non-refillable cartridge. Not sure what brand carts they actually fill! I guess Lexmark......

Yes, it's open to everyone. I just placed my 2nd order, I went to look for yellow ink and found that I did not have any . My only complaint is that they're in Arizona so it takes a full week to get to me on the east coast.

A good eBay seller beats them all.

Well I got 10 cartridges for $17 shipped. But I searched a while. I just say it's worth looking at eBay. That's all.

Coupon MAR5 is working for 5% off at Abacus Private Store. I had gotten email with it at the start of the month and it was only supposed to be valid for a few days but I tried it for an order I placed last week. I didn't think it took the 5% off (I ordered a bunch of different stuff and I guess I did the math wrong), but when I got the order today and looked at the invoice it really did take it off.

Coupon APR5 now valid through 4/30 at Abacus Private Store (private.Abacus24-7.com).
