Now if you returned another item, then you would get less back on that item based on your description.
My apologies. I didn't explain it very well.
Sometimes the instant savings you get in a Staples is not instant on the item itself. It is applied as an in store coupon that is on our AD Prep "paperwork that gives us the coupon codes". This means that that 50 dollars that is supposed to be off ONLY on that one coupon that is supposed to be for that one item only gets spread over all items if you return it. You are essentially getting less back for the other items if you return them... It really doesnt make sense to do it this way, and I hope that they fix the instant savings coupon thing soon.
