ACER?

got my acer with AMD 64+ 1.8 ghz 2 gb ram with simalar specs and paid $550 after tax
that BB plan is crap, will refuse any service if they can. I would not include that cost in buy price.

That M1530 is most likely bought from BestBuy. There is a thread going around in the Hot Deal section of Fatwallet stating that the price is $599 for that same configuration. $599 + tax is only ~$650 or so. Therefore, she is making $150 if you were to buy it from her.

Dell also had a deal about 2 weeks ago where you can get a full loaded M1530 for ~900 dollars. That included a 2.4ghz, 4gb ram, LCD w/ webcam, and other fancy gadgets.

For $800, the deal is lukewarm. I would not buy it.

why would she take a loss for cash, when she could return it to best buy for a refund?

She could also be getting free rewards points from the original purchase even after offloading computer to someone else.

depends if they told her she'd be paying a 15% restocking fee, never mind that it's in basically new condition. the store employees seem to dislike customers returning high-cost items like that. also, 2-3 weeks ago means she could be outside of the technology item return time limit, which i recall was 14 days.

Seems kind of pricey to me. Do you get a guarantee? Speed is 1.66ghz X 2.....
