Can't you threadcrap somewhere else?
I'm not threadcrapping. I just stated that is was reported earlier on the link I provided in the blog that the $5 off $15 was listed as fake coupon by CVS Corporate. I just wanted anyone to make sure it was a legal coupon before use. either by clipping from paper themselves or if an image appeared here by itself, that they check that it was valid first.
"The $5 off $15 purchase coupon is a fake. I am a CVS employee. A corporate email came out to refuse this coupon. NO store will take this coupon" This was a quote from the linked page, not a quote from me. I am not a CVS employee.
This is Deal Discussion, I as a member of FW can discuss and help/warn others if I choose too. my post was not anti-OP but PRO-Coupon Users. I have given advice many times before and will continue to do so.
Sorry, I did read that before. I bet she is a cvs employee. I think she is one of the coupon nazis. You know these, they think that every coupon should be examined with a microscope. The newsday Qs are not fakes. they always work fine, no matter what that woman says.

they are called HONEST PEOPLE. I don't abuse coupons by pushing the envelope on the use of them. people being greedy in the long run could cause CVS to do away with them and that would hurt EVERYONE.
and yes nomoney, I noticed the date. my original post was to bring the AWARENESS of validity.
if they were valid and in paper, AWESOME, But if a lone coupon appeared here with no proof it was actually in paper, then I just noted for users who cared about that type of stuff, to doublecheck before use.
Oh please. I am sorry that I apologized to you because you do have the same train of thought as a Q nazi. A holier than thou attitude that says if people do not think exactly like you, then they must be dishonest and unscrupulous. And stop taking the worries of the world on your shoulders. You will live longer. Who cares what someone on the other side of the country does with their coupons? The notion that it will affect you in the long run is a waste of time. Things might change or stay the same. You have no power over it. Just as I have no power over a thread crapper. Although they annoy me as much as the thought of someone using a "shifty" coupon does to you.

I don't get why you jumped in. The OP gave all the available information - the paper the q is in and even the page number. If it comes out tomorrow in the online edition then obviously that is where it will come from if it is posted. Some q's are not legit, but the information provided here already shows that this isn't the case with this one. It's always wise to check the source but in this case that's already been done. If the OP posted a random link then your concern would be justified.

Frugal,
I am very careful about my coupon posts and would not have posted this if it wasn't valid info. The coupon is verified as being in the paper today, and if it is available in the online edition, that too is verifiable. If someone posts up a schlock/bogus coupon in my thread (in Quick Summary I delete it) or if in a regular post I alert the mods to remove it.
The biggest problem I remember on FW with a CVS coupon was a clearly altered RX fill coupon where the date was changed.
I do have to agree with the others that you went over the top here, not sure why the need to pull the fire alarm when no scan or anything has been posted that is questionable.

that quote was from a website in FEBRUARY, why do you think that comment is relevant to a coupon in a newspaper printed in MAY?
