I am a big user of the Amazon MP3 Download service and appreciate all the posts coming out. I thought it would be easier if we can start a consolidated thread that gets updated.

I think this is a good idea, and it would be helpful to me to know what new songs or albums are available. Already have used this a number of times but it's easy to forget when something is on sale.

I have been waiting for a thread like this. Couple things:
1) With the low prices and lack of DRM, I think this thread should be moved to Hot Deals, similar to the Movielink $0.99 movie of the day thread. Amazon seems dedicated to offering specials (Album of the day, 5 for $5 Fridays, etc.) that tend to create new HD threads.
2) Please start adding suggestions to the quick summary for easier viewing.
I posted this in the Hot Deals section, but got moved by the Admin. My goal was to be able to subscribe to a single thread instead of constantly searching/checking throughout the day.
This thread might not get as updated as preferred -- someone also posted the Coldplay X&Y album in the HotDeals forum, and most likely will keep happening that way on a daily basis as most folks probably look at the HotDeals section. But either way I think this is good stuff that people buy albums without DRM at a fair price.

Exactly. Today is Rush of Blood to the Head, posted in Hot Deals again. Evidently it's Coldplay week. Oh well, they'll run out of albums soon enough...
