Wow, joined in 2005 and this is your first post. Thanks so much for your contribution. The "point" isn't that difficult to grasp. The OP is alerting those in the area that are not aware of the deal, so they might take advantage of it.
Thanks OP, you might want to mention in the title that the coupon availability is probably YMMV regional as it isn't in my local paper.

This coupon is on the Miami Herald Sunday edition too. Its a yellow sticky note attached to the front page. A couple of the digits are different here though so maybe they made them region specific. Ours says only good in store so you'll have to pick up a newspaper if you are in South Florida. Mine is home delivery so I'm not sure if its on the newsstand editions.
$10 off $30 promotion may be regional as I found a different promotion in the Sunday Free Press (an edition of the Detroit Free Press). See my posting for details of a 15% everything fitting is a bag promotion. Link

It isn't MY coupon. It is the latest OfficeMax promo email coupon. Didn't think I needed to spell that out since OMX Inc. is listed on the coupon, and this is an OfficeMax thread...look a little deeper, you'll find it. Might be useful to someone who didn't get the 10 off 30 deal in their local paper.
Scan of sticky-note that my friend sent me, and worked in store. The cashier was an older woman -- and because it was slightly hard for her to see I had to dictate the code to her. She entered it in to her computer and it worked great! Works so far nation-wide!
