So, for about the price of a 4gb nano, you get a 24 port switch (10/100 and 2 1000 ports) AND the nano.
Amazon $157.08 (for some reason Amazon gave me a $20 promotional discount, but I don't know if this will be replicated for others).
The rebate is listed on the Amazon website, and this model number is listed. Amazon lists the model as as FS726TNA while the rebate for says simply FS726T, but by Netgear model configuration, the NA stands for North America.
Although the Netgear rebate doesn't make it clear, I assume the Nano is the 4gb, which lists for $149 and can't be found for much less than this. Thus, for a few dollars more, you end up with a 24 port switch.
Update: July 31. I ordered on the 22nd, received it on the 23rd, sent my rebate by mail on the 24th and got an e-mail from Parago today. A click on the email shows:
Rebate: iPod Nano Rebate Information For: 2894xxxx Promotion: Receive an iPod Nano or an iPod Touch Back by Mail on Select Netgear Products at Participating Retailers Submission Type: ON-LINE Date Received: 07-31-2008 Status Detail: Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing.
Some of the models listed on the rebate page do have "NA" on the end. I wonder if there is any chance that they will differentiate FS726T from FS726TNA.
IamN41 said: I already presubmitted my rebate at www.prosaferebates.com and saw something VERY interesting.
I typed in the netgear product I bought, the date, and the retailer and it shows two different rebates for that product.
One is "free ipod nano" the other is "free ipod nano or ipod touch"!
A free ipod touch would make this super duper hot. Seems too good to believe.
edit: poster two above beat me to it.
the ipod touch is for the other higher end switches they are selling, it is for a different promotion.

I too can confirm I got the $20 "Promotion Applied" automatically at check-out but got to pay taxes (I am in NYC) $11.47. Total shipped: $148.55.
I pre-submitted my rebate on ProSafe's web site and here are the retailers this will work with:

What about the following line under terms and conditions of the rebate?
"Rebate value will not exceed purchase price under any circumstances."
