I found next week's ad at my local store today. It's another of the double sided "upside down" circulars like the have this Sunday. I'm posting what I think are the good deals but will take requests. School supplies - 2-pocket paper folder - 10c, free after Staples Easy Rebate (SER), limit 10. More on this later. GPS – TomTom ONE 130 - $149.98 (save $50) Staples Photo Plus Paper, all varieties, B1G1 after SER (in-store only) Printers – Brother MFC-6490CW AIO - $199.98 after $100 SER Brother Labelers – P-Touch 80 - $9.98 after $20 SER USB Drives – Sandisk Cruzer (the first two are listed with school supplies, the others are with the regular stuff): 1gb gray - $7.98, 2gb black - $12.98, 2gb - $11.98, 4gb - $24.98, 8gb - $39.98 Laptops – HP Pavilion DV6910US/748552 - $549.98 after $50 SER (save $200 total) There’s also some Dell stuff that doesn’t excite me much. Save “up to 40%” on Targus cooling notebook accessories (562134 fan, 554439 lapdesk and 512754 coolpad listed) Memorex CD-R Media 100 pack - $14.98 (save $25) My rant on the FAR folders -- this really sucks. First, most people who buy school supplies are not going to bother with a $1 rebate, even if they can do it online. This does successfully prevent families from having all the kids buy 10 each to get around the limit. And the sales tax on $1 worth of folders is not much less than what you'd pay for the whole thing when they were a penny each. I hope they don't keep doing this.
