For a 2008 Quest S, I'm looking to add a GPS + Backup Cam, hopefully in-dash. Has anyone else found anything that works well? It seems to be a difficult vehicle for an in-dash aftermarket install. Thanks! |

Thanks! I was looking to do that for the xterra but then decided against it b/c i already have 2 portable navi's. Pioneer just came out with a new indash avh-p7XXX or something like that. saw it at Circuit City. ITs in dash navi and dvd with hook up for back up camera. I think MSRP is around $800 or $900. It looked nice and it also has ipod hook ups and some other goodies. |

That receiver is the sweetness however, it can do almost everything that there is to do in a head unit, including(I am pretty sure about this one) outputting to other LCD screens. I can also tie in the backup camera installed on this thing to the large screen. When I find an SE steering wheel I can also tie in the steering wheel controls. I have a pair of step/side bars for sale if anyone is interested. I am replacing them with these listed below since the truck will see some serious off roading. http://www.shrockworks.com/Nissan-Xterra-Rock-Sliders-Rocker-Protection-Nerf-Bars-pr-16157.html The stock ones are just fine for 97% of people. |

patelking & protomind, thanks for the suggestions. I actually went by Cartoys, and they said an in-dash install into an '08 Quest S could not be done! The installers were not in at the time though, so he said I should check back. According to his computer though, they have no install kits listed for '07-'08 Quests. One problem I've found, is that the opening is only a single-DIN, which greatly decreases availability. I'm now thinking about a dash-mount instead. Has anyone ever tried these places? It's the only ones I could find online: http://www.4ucam.com http://www.navsgo.com Would love to see some pictures of example installs. |

Anybody found the way to install the backup camera in 2008 Nissan Quest S model. If so, could you share your experience and cost associated with it. |

did you find anything as far as backup camera goes ? I would be very interested. Not yet. I'm hoping to find someone who's paved the way for us. This has got to be a popular request, so I can't imagine someone out there hasn't done it already. |

The others are all typical dealership people that say whatever until you pick up the car and then ignore and hang up on you when you call them for information. I just got the eval to fill out and mail in and i'm marking them down on everything. |

I got Cargo area protecter $60 (50 + 10 S/H) (Nissan Parts 999M1-GQ001) All Season floor mats $142(120 + 22 S/H) (Nissan Parts 999E1-NT000) I know these are not good prices but buying from local dealer you have to pay full price + tax. Were as from online dealer almost %20 discount of MSRP. |
