All Season floor mats $142(120 + 22 S/H) (Nissan Parts 999E1-NT000)

I know these are not good prices but buying from local dealer you have to pay full price + tax. Were as from online dealer almost %20 discount of MSRP.

were these for a pathfinder??

These were for Quest. I know you can get at costco for $20 but they are good only for sedan or small SUV. No good after market mats I have come across for Mini VAN or full SUV.

what you are guys using for gas ? regular unleaded or premium ? If using premium do you notice any mileage difference ? i thought the dealer said it uses regular unleaded but the manual clearly recommends premium unleaded...it does say if the premium unleaded is "unavailable" then you can use regular unleaded. Honestly i dont remember seeing a gas station ever without premium unleaded being offered...My concern is long-term...can they screw us on the warranty if you do end up using regular unleaded.

or i am reading way too much into this...i dont think so. thoughts otherwise ?

Regular unleaded for the Xterra as by the book.

Just ordered a grille/brush guard for my Xterra from eBay and debating this one for the rear.

Any opinions on the rear guard?

My vehicle (2008 Nissan Quest S) is showing the display "Service Engine soon". I spoke to the Nissan service department and they said, the sales person should reset the timer to display this every 3,500 miles. I went to the service department and the sales person was there, and they couldn't figure out how to reset this. They going to talk to their expert technician and call me back to setup another appointment.

Do you guys see this have to do with any engine issue. I do not think so, just to be sure ? What type of Gas is recommended for Quest ?
Thank you

I ended up buying a refurb dual screen off eBay which works fine as I want to swap back and forth between cars. If I where to have gotten one installed as much as it hurts to say it I would have gotten it from WalMart. If you have $1000-$1500 then by all means just get the dealer to install the factory one but if not the way all electronics are pretty much disposible these days I really do not see that big of difference with the quality. You can get an overhead on for $250-$350, then buy the install card for $150. The real differance to me is that you can get the 3 year extended warranty for under $30 on it which is actually for 3 yrs after the manufacturs warrenty so far an away the best deal to get something and really not have too much of a concern for a few years.

What do you mean by install cards ? Where do you buy them and where you use them ? Can you be more specific.

You can buy Jensen overhead 11" DVD online for $395.00 (free ship and no tax) and I called cicuit city and ask them how much to install it by phone and they said $180/- their website say $100.00

Do you guys know any otherplace other than Circuit City to install this overhead DVD system in Quest S.

Thank you

You can buy Jensen overhead 11

From what I have seen you buy a card and they send the card along with a list of companies that you can use the card to get the player installed. You then call the company you want to install it, set an appointment then give them the card. If you go to the product page ususally the card and the warranty is listed below it somewhere.

From the WalMart site:
Item Description
With this InstallCard a professional installer will either (a) install an overhead mobile video with built-in DVD player (some vehicles will require additional parts and/or labor due to sunroof, controls, or curvature of the roof); or (b) remove factory headrests and install dual aftermarket mobile video headrests. Additional installation charges may apply for optional video sources such as games, navigation, or VCR/DVD player.

Disclaimer

If the factory wires or dashboard has been cut or damaged due to a previous not professional installation or theft.
If the in dash, flip down or headrest monitors has either an optional or required video input that is not built into the unit and has to be mounted separately in the vehicle. Such as a Playstation, DVD or VCR.
Most headrest and flip down units will have a wireless FM modulator that will allow the sound to be played through the vehicles stereo system. But if you don't have an FM mod and you would like it hardwired to the vehicle there will be additional parts and labor.
Some vehicles will require a high level of difficulty to install a flip down video screen due to the contour of the vehicle roof and may require ceiling enhancements or additional mounting trim brackets. Overhead Video units which include Trim Kits/Rings can eliminate this risk.
Vehicles that have overhead sunroofs, radio controls, heater controls, A/C vents and consoles may require additional labor.
Vehicles that have a designated spot for an overhead video screen in a factory console may require a factory installed item.

Attention Nissan Quest Owners!

We will be having same problem as Nissan Quest owners of 2004 and later models regarding ECM getting corroded that it will cost more than $1000.00 in a couple years because of bad design and Nissan still has not fix the problem.

To test:
All you have to do to simulate raining is a garden hose spray on the windshield and right after that open the hood of your car and check your ecm. I'm sure you will discover that it is wet. After 2-4 years of this and corrosion will destroy the ecm.

Check this links for reports of ECM problems:

--------------
Here's what I've done:
I called Nissan Consumer Affairs: 1-800-647-7261. I filed a case. I was instructed to bring it to a dealership. I have schedule appt. this wednesday. I hope they can do something about it.

-----------
Any ideas how we can cover and protect the ecm from getting wet other than relocating the ecm?

-------------
If this is resolve, I think Quest is great van. I hope to keep it @ least 10 years. I constantly check online for reports of problem on the quest because I want to do something about it before it gets to be a problem.
