Imariquinn, Boy, You're Breaking-in your Quest Perfectly! I wished I did it like you did. I did no faster than 75 mph and variable speed as much as possible. Current mileage is only 322 miles odometer. @ 1500 miles, I plan to change oil and use synthetic mobil 1. |

I'm installing the Viper 5900 which has 1 mile range, remote start, and 2 way pager system. You can get add on modules for auto window up/down from remote but installation on those starts to get pricey. Just found out this morning that the Xterra does have a factory alarm system which the dealership told me that it does not. Too bad I already installed the Viper system but may take it out and give it to my brother. |

i don't have a link, couldn't find it online myself. the guy that installed it is my dad's friend, he charged me 200 bucks, which is wut i think the unit cost, i gave him extra 100 for his work, i think he normally charge 400 to 500 for the unit. i think maat is comparable to compustar, which i had in my old car. |

On our 2008 Nissan Quest w/ 582 miles : Mix 75% City and 25% Hwy = 14.6mpg w/ 91 octane which is recommended gas. |

I am up to 19.7 MPG with avg 27 MPH... I did take a short trip (R/T 100 miles) using part of the way I-75 in non-rush hour traffic at 70MPH +/-. My average speed just went up about 2 MPH since that trip. I only put about 25 miles a day on the car driving on roads from 30 MPH to 55 MPH. Still using regular gas... |

Imariquinn: what's your wt load? are you driving by yourself or in our case it's with 4 kids (5,4,32month, 17 month), wife and I. I guess in our situation the hills of san francisco also affects our gas mileage. Edit: oh yeah, don't forget to change your oil @ 1200 miles and switch to mobil 1 synthetic oil and if you're a costco member, take your quest to costco tire center and ask them nicely to do a nitrogen swap on all your 4 tires. |

I have 2 kids in boosters and zero hills! I just hit 1500 miles this today. I have not even thought about an oil change yet! I know the dealer will do the nitrogen, will they do the synthetic switch too? |

The first oil changes is at 1500 miles ? I thought at 3,500 miles. I haven't check my manual yet. Is it Nissan recommendation that we have to change or switch to mobil 1 synthetic oil ? What is nitrogen swap ? how it is helping our Nissan Quest ? |

imariquinn and others. Hopefully someone can answer this question. I bought the Quest S which has one power sliding door. I have a problem with it. When I press the sliding door button, it opens and then reverses and closes completely. I had this happen within the first 2 weeks and then I did not see it. I see it now today (about a month, since I bought it). Does anyone have a similar problem or may know the solution. I called the dealership and they asked me to bring it in on Monday. (I have checked that nothing is blocking it or any settings related with it, cant find nothing) This is the second issue I have had. The first issue was the 2nd day itself when i noticed the same power sliding door had a rattle sound. They fixed that in a a couple of days. Lucky I have the VOB Nissan Extended warranty as well (for the future). Hopefully someone can help me. |

Paint work. My new van had some scratch on the bumper (right front) now, I wonder how to fix it with the minimum cost? |
