Two of my Canon rebates also had "please contact us..." as the status yesterday (11/18), but they changed back to "Your rebate check was mailed on ..." this morning. I deposited them last week. If they bounced, I am sure Canon will pay for the ISF fee and the full rebate amount.


If I were you, I wouldn't be so sure about something like that.

doesn't matter either way, the checks were deposited last week and I can't undo that.

Has any one heard from BFG and Casio on what they going to do?

I send them e-mail using web, but have not heard anything from them

Good news regarding my Kensington rebates, they are now being handled by Parago. I received emails from them advising that three are approved, still need confirmation on the fourth.

Samsung SUCKS!!!

Their customer services has no ideas about CPG's bankruptcy, and can' give me any support.

Anyone know how to contact Samsung Headquarter in USA?

I feel that Samsung customer services don't want to tell me how to contact Samsung Headquarter

call SamsungElectronics.rebatestatus.com, the rep tells my the company is under reconstructuion, rebatestatus is still processing samsung rebate.

I told her that the rebate check from other company get bounced, she said if you receive samsung rebate, you can call (866) 397 - 3420 to verify you checks.

Look at the response I got from Ahead Nero. I explained in a previous email to rebates@nero.com that I was referring to the $20 Upgrade rebate being handled by CPG not the $50 rebate being handled by another rebate house. Don't these people understand English? Here is the response I got...

Dear Nero Customer,

We changed to a different company about 6 months ago. Your check for $50 was mailed out 11/7/08.

Re Corsair on the summary post, I'm not sure they're CPG. Current rebates I have with them are being listed on a site run by Velocity Fulfillment, Inc. Same people??

I've got an email into Corsair CS to get clarification.

I've had a few Corsair rebates, and they were all with Velocity (which is a different company). You don't have anything to worry about. BTW, I've never had a problem with a Velocity rebate.

I recently received a TRENDnet $15 MIR check which I have NOT deposited but never got the email that you quoted. I used the email address from your post and have sent them a query about the whole thing.

Related item: I deposited 2 PriceGrabber $5 checks on 4 November before I heard about this crap and so far they have not bounced. Am hoping that after 17 days I may have dodged the bullet...

I sent my query to rebatequestion@trendnet.com and within a couple of hours had the following reply back:

Subject: Re: TRENDnet Mail In Rebate Problems

Dear Sir,

We have recently gone with a new rebate company, they are now handling all the customers from our old one. If you have recieved a check and have not cashed it you will receive one within 2-4 weeks from our new rebate company. There is no longer the need to send in your check, Please hold the check just in case.

As promised, I have found out information about your rebate inquiry.
CPG has indeed filed Chapter 11, however Advance Auto Parts is working with them very closely to ensure that rebates are processed and the checks do not bounce. Advance feels the situation is under control so you should not have any issues with your rebate. If you have further questions, please contact advanceautoparts.rebatestatus.com or call 877-776-9655.
