Some companies have already emailed consumers. I myself personally called Antec and they said not to cash my rebate check I received.

This will make Christmas season even more dismal for retailers.

I called Antec today and they said not to cash the check I received.
If your check bounces you owe probably $30 +.
Internet discussion groups also mention Trendnet said same in emails.

if they issued the check why will it bounce?

Im good... just cashed two bushnell rebate checks...whew. Sorry for you guys with rebates still out.. I hate not getting a rebate.
