so...are you all even getting the 8% to work? I have tried the methods listed here and cannot get it to stick through to the purchase...

Yes, just tried with "cheap wii" and it got 8% all the through to eBay (eBay stores specifically, but then from there to eBay).

hermosatrout5 said:Could OP or someone please fix this thread so that every time "CashBack" is mentioned it does NOT give a link to "FatWallet CashBack".
In this thread, "CashBack" should give a link to http://search.live.com/cashback or to http://search.live.com//.
Fatwallet automatically converts all forum references to 'CashBack' to a link to fatwallet's CashBack.
Actually, so far there doesn't seem to be a link to http://search.live.com in this new and improved thread. There's clickable links to live.com with currently working search terms at the beginning of the quick summary.

I get this message with the alerts, does it mean it only applies to no more than 40 actual items by name??

"We show at most 40 keywords/products in this alert."

Yes, thats true, its there until I actually begin to check-out, then I dont see the icons etc that used to be there. Based on experience and prior posts, this leads me to believe its not actually working. Can someone confirm that they actually got it to work, all the way through the purchase, in the last few hours? Have an expensive gift to buy and even 8% is valuable to me...if it works....

Thanks all!!

The 8% discount is showing all the way to the 'commit to buy' screen for me. If the commit to buy screen isn't showing you your actual CashBack discount amount in the lower left of the screen, something is wrong.

Interesting- I don't see eBay on the live.com stores page anymore. It used to be there.

Have any of you sent feedback to Live to ask an increase in %? Apparently they listen to requests. official forum.

Click on the rating even if there is nothing there. You can see who rated the post either way.

Please avoid discussing who redded who, what and or why so we can keep this thread on topic. Thanks.

I tried again this morning after making a purchase last night and could not get the CashBack for eBay. Logged in to MSLive, and now I am getting the CashBack.

Can anyone confirm is the $2,500 live.com limit is

1. The max amount you can withdraw in 1 year
or
2. The max amount that you can have from purchases during 1 particular year.

In other words, when they say " earn" do they mean when you purchased an item with CashBack or do they mean when you try to receive the money into your paypal account?

The old forum said that some users indicated during the chat that it was the amount you could withdraw in a year but it said that there was no documentation to confirm that.

If anyone could please let me know, I would sure appreciate it a lot.

Thanks for your help

The 8% is working again with most terms posted on Cashbackr, it will credit the 8% no problems, just tried it my self. Used "levi jeans" and "christmas", both show 8%. The VG-C70AM is not working after over 200 refreshes.
