PS: I hate the capping from discover card, max of $15 Cash Back for July-Sept.

There is a $300 spending limit. Which means the max reward you can get is $15. And you never know when they will actually credit it.

Note that June's savings is on restaurants. The savings mentioned by the poster is for July- September.

Do you suppose that Amazon counts as a bookstore? It does for purposes of the Citi mtvU visa card, which is huge, but I don't know about Discover. Not sure if these categories tend to be consistent across the different credit card companies.
