Just a quick question? I am in search of a Dell laptop. Are any of the coupons/specials look enticing to anyone right now? If so, which one? I am in the market for a Dell laptop. Should I place an order today or wait for this weekend to see what comes around?

Do you really need the computer now? If you buy now, you'll have to install the upgrade to Windows 7 yourself, and if you ever have to reinstall it your recovery disks won't have it built in so it will be a two-step process. If you can wait until October, you can get the computer with Windows 7 already on it.
that is the thing jolma, I can't wait. UGGH! I haven't purchased a new laptop in over 4 years so anything that you could recommend would be a great help.
July: You are in sales promo period when they have to put out promos as people are not particularly needing computers - school is out and people are at the beach. August: back to school sales.

My advice DON'T buy Dell. Many of their laptops burn out their power adapter quickly, and mess with the motherboard. Many hours with customer service in India while under warranty and then you are on your own. They seem to last no longer than 6 months. Google this and see the many people with this problem, unless you prefer to keep buying the adapters, and the motherboards.
