A few of my Mommy friends & I use this cell phone service and it's awesome... coupon codes are available all over discount sites

June 30, 2009: kajeet™ (www.kajeet.com), the safest cell phone service for kids and the only cell phone carrier in the U.S. that has ever won a parenting award, has won the iParenting Media Award for 2009 Excellent Products in the Safety category. It is the third parenting award kajeet has won in the last eight months.
Kajeet makes communicating with a cell phone safe for “tweens” and teens because its phones feature a wide variety of free parental controls that can be set to block calls, picture messaging, and text messaging based on parental decisions. The kajeet parental controls let parents determine when, how and how much the phones can be used by their children.

If anyone wants a 15% off coupon code, let me know

is it stil good?

I have a coupon code that's still good. It's: 1115 You get 15% off!!

Interesting concept. $19.99/month give 150min talk time (just over 13cents/min) Additional mins @ 10cents/min

I have used this service for my daughter, she has 150 talk minutes a month and unlimited texting $19.99 a month!! the texting is wonderful and she uses it all the time. This co. Kajeet Rocks!!!

I forgot to mention that the child can disable the GPS tracking on the phone itself... however it is my understanding that if needed the Police/Law enforcement can still track it in the event of a disappearance or missing child.

FYI, I called them and they were able to give me 30% off and free next day shipping over the phone (they would not provide me with a code to enter online).

Kajeet is on the Sprint Service.
And Law enforcement track by Cell Tower usage if the GPS is turned off. Not as precise.

I use Virgin for my darling daughter - bought hot pink phone for $29 at Best Buy - pay as you go and they replace the phone if she loses it. The Virgin website is awesome -thought of switching from Sprint and using them also. You can lock the phone to only make and receive calls from those in the address book - so it's safe.
