yes, i get that FW needs to make money(so does micro$ft) but, how can there be such a disparity on the same Cash Back store? FW has these great boards so i would rather give the business to them vs BING all things being equal. NOT at 9% extra though!!
Because FW does pay. M$ inflates those values but never pays them claiming any bogus reason...
Out of 10 FW CBs, I got all of them processed and paid
Out of 10 bing CBs, I got 7 processed, and only 3 paid. The missing ones, it took me two months and about 10 emails to get them added. And of the 7 not paid, well, I'm still going back and forth with them for over 2 months after their promised date, claiming problems transfering to my paypal account...

Unlike rsusaver, I've had all my bing CashBack paid without trouble. And he is wrong in saying that they can have high percent CashBack because they do not pay out. Just as you are wrong stating that MS has to make money. No they don't, not on this piece of business. It is a well known fact that MS subsidizes their online unit and increased CashBack is simply them trying to buy customers. There is no profit in it for them and they don't have some amazing agreement that allows them to make more money that FW, they just tack on extra money hoping that in the future people will use bing even when CashBack returns to realistic levels.
Simply put, MS is throwing money at their online shopping. At times giving away more than the merchant is even offering as commission. They are doing this not to compete with Cash Back sites, but to generate search traffic to compete with Google. I can't comment on how reliable they are, because I have never used them. I do know that our CashBack team is aces at working with you, and the merchants to get you your CashBack.
If you look at any other Cash Back site, you will notice the same pattern. We try to be competitive with on what we offer for Cash Back, but bing is burning cash to compete with Google.
