If one doesn't already exist, can we use a thread listing free/discounted military prices for events and services when they trump the usual discounts?

For example;
Puyallup, Wa fair- Military and dependents free admission with ID Sept. 14 and 21.
$1.50/ride on 9-14 (typically $4-$5/ride)
link
Please add any other free/cheap deals you know of.

Is this something that should have an auto-update?

What's special about this? No real military discount at your link, just the PX/BX website.

Rarely a good deal there, but sometimes. Every electronic item I've ever checked has always been cheaper elsewhere.

The commissary, on the other hand, does save you money.

...

Best Westerns used to give really good discounts for military, way more than that 10% AAA nonsense. I haven't seen it much lately, but there's one in mid-Oregon (Reed?) that still did it last year...from $90 down to $60. The Red Lion in Medford used to give a similarly excellent rate drop plus include a sit-down breakfast for military and family...not sure if they still do.

And of course, don't forget the free airfare to Iraq.

Advanced Auto gives 10% on every purchase. Walgreens has 15% off every tuesday. December of last year was 2O percent for the month. Dont know if they are doing it this year
