DirecTV has stopped showing the Versus channel because of some kind of dispute between them. This is the only channel showing the BYU - Florida State game. When I called 1-800-642-1923 to complain about not getting the game, I was forwarded to DirecTV. I discussed my disappointment with not getting the game with a CSR and they agreed to give me a $10 per month credit for the next 6 months.
Thanks I will try this. Before, whenever I tell them I want to cancel the Directv account, they give me six months free HBO and Cinemax or Showtime and Encore.

When I called the number you provided, the CSR told me they cannot offer any credits for the Versus inconvenience. I then told the CSR to cancel my account immediately.
The CSR then apologized, and forwarded me to the cancellation dept. The cancellation dept offered me $20 off/mo for the next 6 months. I accepted their offer, but I'll believe it when I see the actual credits appear on my monthly invoices.
