I just purchased an ASUS laptop and wanted my FW friends to opine, before I open the box, if it was a good/great deal. Here are the specs:

It is the K50IJ-RX05 - found it at BB on clearance for $449 and change.

Intel Pentium T4200 / 2 GHz, Dual-Core 64-bit processor
3GB RAM; 320GB Hard Drive
Wireless N(draft)/g/b
Display Type 15.6 in TFT active matrix Max Resolution 1366 x 768 ( WXGA ) Widescreen Display

5.6lbs

Integrated webcam - 1.3 megapixel
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (eligible for Windows 7 upgrade)

For that specific computer it seems like you have a nice price. The next lowest price I could find was $530. If you have any specific questions regarding the computer, you might want to ask them here.
