I just purchased an ASUS laptop and wanted my FW friends to opine, before I open the box, if it was a good/great deal. Here are the specs:
It is the K50IJ-RX05 - found it at BB on clearance for $449 and change.

For that specific computer it seems like you have a nice price. The next lowest price I could find was $530. If you have any specific questions regarding the computer, you might want to ask them here.
