My TV I bought from Sam's Club ~ 2.5 years ago stopped working a few months ago. I put it in the box thinking to get it fixed or something. But then I read they are changing their policy to limit returns and it got me thinking I could return this TV? I still have the reciept and the box.

Anyone know if 2.5 years is too long?

Thanks

I do not see how it is a too long. You essentially gave them an interest free loan. Your lost.

I think there return policy is 60 days on electronics. If it used to be something else when you bought your TV then you might be grand fathered in.

I just met with the manager of one of the stores here in Birmingham, saturday. I asked him specifically re: their 5 year policy. He said they had no time limit on the returns, but that the NEW sign ( Nov. 1st)at the return desk will specifically reference 30 days on all electronics. He went further to say that he was buying the 52' Vizio and the Samsung 46' "6" series ( that I was purchasing)before Novemeber 1. I am going back to get a computer this week, and TVs for the rest of the bedrooms in my house.
