I have had 2 eBay transactions in the last 3 weeks where Bing.com sends me 2 messages and cancels the CashBack.
First, after the 60 day waiting period I get a message that Bing tried to deposit cachback in my Paypal account but was unable to...and to contact them.
Then, about 15 minute later I get a message that: "The store notified us that the purchase has been returned, exchanged, or canceled"
Neither transaction was ever canceled (or any coupons used etc.). Nothing weird, just standard eBay Buy-it-Now, pay with paypal, etc.
The same day Bing successfully deposited 2 other transactions, and I have had numerous eBay transactions with Bing CashBack no problem.
Bing has been "investigating" the first instance for 2 weeks (they send me two e-mails a week, which seems a lot of effort for a $6.49 CashBack). Has anyone been through this? Am I alone in my misery?
Well, first CashBack was $6.49, now the 2nd is $3.92.
And I was kidding about the misery, except that I am maxed out on eBay Bing.com CashBack purchases and hope that if they can't figure out why I am being kicked out of their system they will at least set back the counter to let me have 2 more buys.....That way I can get rejected for higher amounts and really feel the pain
I do think its odd I am the only one to have gone through this...and now it has happened to me twice with 2 different sellers.
Just open another eBay account. There is no limit per eBay terms. Then you start fresh at 20 Bing's again!
