i have a 20" LCD (1600x1200). i want more screen space.
21.5" LCD (1920 x 1080) for $140 AR at Newegg (free ship)
24" LCD (1920x1080) for $160 + tax AC at Costco (local pick up)

i also want to upgrade my GPS. i have a basic Nuvi 200.
i want one with free real time traffic reports, and something that beeps at me when i go 10mph over the speed limit.
i havent researched this yet.

As i'm typing this, i think waiting till Black Friday sales is a better idea? I dont *NEED* any of these items. They're just upgrades to stuff i already have thats working fine.

If you want a GPS with traffic included, I think black friday will be one of the best times to get one. There are awesome deals on refurb models at other times, often very good ones, but not usually the ones with traffic included.

For an LCD, I am expecting that black friday will be a great time to buy. On the other hand, Dell just had some decent LCD deals and the eBay daily deals have had some nice LCDs lately. If you are able to get an LCD black friday that you like, go for it. If that doesn't work out, you'll be able to find something good elsewhere before long.

Black Friday is FW day, especially for heavily discounted electronics.

I have been seeing some great monitor deals in the hot deals section. I would start with a search of the keyword Dell.

Target is clearing out their Garmin GPS units. I was looking at the 255 which was ~$125-135. I also have the Nuvi 200 and find it to be great, but wouldn't mind a widescreen and/or TTS unit..
