I like the idea of satellite radio, but I've never liked the cost, either of the hardware or the monthly fee. Any suggestions for lessening the bite of either component? I've found links on here to previous deals that offer everything from free hardware to subscription discounts, but none seem currently valid.
Brian, beware - XM is like AOL was when it comes to cancellation... only worse. Once you are a customer, if you want to cancel - too bad as you are a member for life.
Trust me, you are ahead with streaming audio on your PC if this is for home use.

this isn't true at all, read the $77.70 post, there are no contracts, you can pay quarterly and request up front to be invoiced and not auto billed. You don't sign anything, you can get a pro rated refund
