I bought a new Virgin Mobile Shuttle a few months ago when they had their 20% off promotion. After my first $20 top up, my next top up date was extended a year to September 2010. The only thing I could find on their web site that might apply is their "Service Preserver" which extends the top-up date for a year, but in most cases involves spending about $90 in top up fees. The only option that could apply to me was topping up at least $10 after buying qualifying handset, but I couldn't find any info on what was a qualifying handset. This was a nice bonus for people like me who rarely use their cell phones and have built up a substantial balance due to required top ups. I was able to use money from my balance to buy the new phone. |
