instead of 1680 x 1050, i'm going to rotate it 90 degrees for 1050 x 1680.
1680 x 1050 => 1680 pixels horizontal, 1050 pixels vertical
webpages nowdays are designed for 1024 horizontal. so by having 1680, i am getting alot of white space. by turning the monitor, i now get 1050 horizontal. and with 1680 vertical, i dont need to scroll down much, if at all.
so have any 1680 x 1050 monitors that can be rotated vertical been on sale for under $100?
or dont hold my breath for it during the Black Friday sales?

If you can wall mount it, any LCD that can be wall mounted you can use software to rotate the display and can mount it at 90 degrees. However, if you want one with a rotatable stand those are rare.
One bugaboo is that cheap LCD panels are TN - and TN panels don't look good if you get above or below them- rotating a TN panel will mean that there will be a visible change in brightness if you move your head from right to left. An IPS or VA panel would be better to use rotated, but those are much more expensive.
Coupons are often hard to stack with the Black Friday sales (since the stores intentionally don't have coupons at that time), so the deals you are seeing now are probably equally as good as the Black Friday deals without coupons will be.
