So I'm going to Skii trip next January and I'm a skii noob. Any recommendation on what I need to get? or any advice regarding anything about Skii will be appreciated.
Full Noob? Rent at the lodge. It costs about $10-15 more than the other places but your first experience should NOT have to lug that equipment down to a lower store and return those skis. Also you can get lessons as part of the rental.
After you can ski you can shop around at the local shops (Usually $12-15 per day) for equipment. But spend on the lesson w/skis.
For the clothes? Usually Sport Connection or Sport Chalet are good places.
Agree with renting equipment rather than buying to start off. Unless you are a fashion plate, you can get good deals on ski clothing at places like Marshall's and TJ Maxx who are selling last year's stuff at bargain prices right now. I picked up a $210 ski jacket for $80.
