I am set to buy a Dell monitor G2410 because of its features vs. price.
However, I researched passed deals and it seemed that this very model was on sale a few months ago. Yet not at this time. Due to my current monitor "kaput" I am a bit pressed to buy very soon, not sure that black friday will be of much help for that particular model. I really want to have LED backlight, my laptop has it and it is great.
Due to my shopping for hardware habits, I never bought anything ever from Dell, I am a noob with them. It seems that in some posts it was hinted that one can chat with Dell reps and they may bring the price down for you specifically but I don't know how to state my case to them other than a pleading (which does not carry much weight in an argument).
Thus, I would appreciate any tips on how I can get this very monitor for less.

Have the old lower price in hand when you chat, who knows what the person will do. BUT watch the order confirmation closely... With the language barrier, yes even with typed chat, (and worse with phone chat) they have been known to add other things like a longer warranty and when you get the bill, yikes.
