I missed the Dell Wii console deal to get $20 off, do you think there will be anymore wii console deals from Dell before Xmas?
Do you think Amazon will have a Wii console deal anytime soon? I really want to get one for my Granddaughter.

They have been going down to $199...I think with Black Friday and Christmas you have a good chance.

Not a lot of deals right now from what I've seen. I'm still hoping for at least one last round of deals but we may have missed the boat. Not the end of the world, as the difference is really only $20-30 on a $200 purchase but still would be nice to get a deal.

If you can also get Bing CashBack (I think Dell is 5%?) with that you're in at ~$176. Unfortunately Dell charges tax to AZ, so total after coupon and BCB is $189, $199 if BCB is rejected because of coupon.

FWIW it seems like wii are selling for full retail on eBay, I would say that indicates sales are strong and doesn't bode well for more big deals. May be a few in very limited quantities just to try and draw people in. We'll see.

Prices for certain electronic systems such as the Wii, PS3, etc. are set by their manufacturers and not the retailers. This is why you do not see any advertised price difference from one retailer to the next. Best bet is to buy via CashBack from companies like Bing, FW, and buying through credit card companies' website (e.g. Discovercard ShopDiscover).

Nintendo did drop the suggested retail price to $199.99 as you say, but that hasn't stopped a number of retailers from marking it down further. Amazon had a $25 gift card for a while, Dell just had them for $179.99 and had them for $175 earlier. With Bing Cash Back some people got them as low as $148. The question is whether we'll see any deals like that again before xmas...

BTW Dell $20 off is back, should be able to do $165 shipped if you combine BCB and DPA discounts. Posted deal here:

Dell charges sales tax here in AZ, so not as hot for me.

Check the Wii blog for WalMart this Saturday (Nov. 14th). Free $100 WalMart GC with purchase of wii. (I don't want to add all the details and duplicate the thread in here)

Current Amazon Wii + Wii Plus + $50 GC for $290 seems quite good for anybody who was planning on getting both anyway. I already scored a deal on a Wii Fit, so still waiting.
