11/12 Update: I have not been able to confirm this deal and being that it is so close I am going to have to assume this info I was told was false. Mod probably makes sense to delete this topic now. Perhaps WalMart changed their minds or has plans to run this on a different date...
same as last Saturdays Xbox deal but this time is for the Wii! I was told commercials are running already advertising the deal...I have yet to see them for myself so YMMV at this point.

Very Possible. I was there yesterday to enquire about the Xbox special. He mentioned that this coming saturday there is going to something similar on a different product. He wasnt sure what it was.
Come on... WalMart is going to make fun with us one more time? My friend and I went to WalMart close to Santa Clara. We went there at around 7am and there were over 50 people in front of us. Then 8am, the manager said they had only 2 Xbox360 deal. I understand how Black Friday deal works. We did went to queue up for BestBuy years ago. But at least, we knew how many of LCD TV deals they were going to have. I felt like I were being used by WalMart to battle with Amazon. So, I better stay in my bed this Sat. I think I would have much higher chance to have a good dream than getting the Wii.
If this is true, I hope .com has it available, too.
It could very well be true b/c a local WM manager told me corporate had planned Saturday barn burners (his words) on electronics for the holiday season.

This is just a rumor. Saw this posted on another thread. No proof of this at all at this time. Only one person posted hearsay from a cashier. WalMart is doing a phone deal with $100 gift card.

My DW's store had a 'bunch', just sold the last one yesterday w/ the $100GC deal. It's most likely true about the Wii but she won't say for sure (or how many min/store).

Looking around it looks like someone posted it once on one of the deal sites and everyone else just copied+pasted. I'd love to see this materialize and have Amazon match it but I'm skeptical to say the least.
